Β The beautiful Annapurna includes the tenth highest peak in the world. Annapurna I (8,091 m) almost has a deadly attraction for mountaineers. Among the eight-thousands, it has the highest fatality ratio. Even if it is fatal, it treasures for the mountain lovers.

This range will increase your hunger for the scenery and mountain views from Pokhara. You get distinct views of Annapurna South, Hinnchuli and Machapuchare, at Ghandruk. To Sinuwa, opinions of all the peaks of the Annapurna and Machapuchare will stay. At dovan, the tip of Machapuchare vexes you. You will be surprised by the appearance and glory of Machapuchare as soon as come out of the forest past Himalaya and Deurali.  Machapuchare is famous as the fishtailed mountain. And by the netizens of Nepal, it is revered for its fascinating beauty. And in Hinduism, it is believed to be one of the homes of Lord Shiva. Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Gangapurna and Hiunchuli up close will be visible too, in addition to Manchapuchare, at the Macgapuchare base camp.

Opposite to the Annapurna glacier, Annapurna Base Camp is a small cluster of lodges. You will find the Annapurna massif in front of you from the edge of the glacier. From there you can see all Annapurna I, III and South, Machapucahre, Gangapurna, and Gandharvachuli.

You will be able to see exquisite vegetation in this journey. The trekking path from Ghandruk to Chomrung is surrounded by bamboo, fern and rhododendron. The forest becomes dense once you cross Sinuwa to enter the Annapurna sanctuary. You will find Tall oak trees here. On moving higher toward Deurali, you will find tall grass in the thick forest. You will discover thick barked trees called Daphne in this area. And locals use this for making papers. Commonly these trees are found near Sandakphu as well. The terrain becomes Apline mear the Machapuchare base camp.

You see patches of grass amidst boulders here. At this section, flowering plants line the trail. Through the forest, the trail has three dense sections. It is so thick that barely the sunlight penetrates through. Right after the village around Chimrung starts the first section and extends till New Bridge. You can hear the roars of the Modi Khola on the trail from Sinuwa but will not be able to see them because of the dense trees around. After bamboo comes the third stretch and it goes all the way to Dovan. This trek will be such a beautiful experience that you will want it once again.

This trek attracts mountain lovers from all over the world, especially when you can experience fantastic flora and fauna. A large species of birds and plants can be seen here. It is so rich in biodiversity that you can find some rare birds also. Here, most of the people speak in English, and this is also a big reason for its being famous as communication is not a problem here.
